Interesting write up on the evolution of mankind which argues toward the devolvement of natural selection to a post Darwinian genetically engineered superhuman whose objective is happiness.  Very subjective but a very interesting take.  The author, clearly educated in neuro sciences, makes good arguments of why we can't dismiss this idea and how historically we're on track of the hedonisitc imperative with pain free lives.  I wouldn't dismiss this, and even more interesting, as the author states, this idea could, looked at idealistically could live forever.
