Agree on all points, are few interesting thoughts here:
1. While technology companies have looked at early adopters as males 25-35 I think that the adopting of video content on the iPod could just as well start with tween girls. They are much more likely to do things like watch movies on their iPod in little peices, show their friends favorite scenes etc.

2. USA vs international adoption could widely vary - for example I could see Japan where everyone commutes on the train and it seems like every one is either (a) glued to their cell phone screen or (b) has little white iPod buds growing out of their ears may adopt video differently than the usa.

3. I absolutely agree that the iPod will become both part of an home wireless network (think AirPort Express for Video) and a media adapter / storage device.

Either way Jobs and crew will extend the body of rights and help make the market while many other players are screwing around trying to do stupid things like put a large file on the desktop and either transcode it for poratble or have a second file for portable. Net / net Microsoft has a whole new set of issues to get ready to deal with as they get "ipodded" again...
