Ok not sure where we stand on this one... One part of me agrees 100% that giving kids a Fluffernutter flor lunch probably does not fit into the rehlms of prudence. Another part of me says they have been eating this crap for generations and it seems to be just this last generation getting this friggen fat. Is that because they now watch more TV and playstation or are just eating more crap. All of that aside it is so stupid to me that they are trying to create laws as to what can and cannot be eaten. I guess there is NO presonal responsibility any more, now we are going to have the government tell us what we can eat! What I think scares me the most about that is I have convinced myself that people involved in politics in all parties are getting progressively stupider and yet have more and more control over our lives...

Now, the beloved Fluffernutter sandwich — the irresistible combination of Marshmallow Fluff and peanut butter, preferably on white bread with a glass of milk handy — finds itself at the center of a sticky political debate.
Sen. Jarrett Barrios was outraged that his son Nathaniel, a third-grader, was given a Fluffernutter sandwich at the King Open School in Cambridge. He said he plans to file legislation that would ban schools from offering the local delicacy more than once a week as the main meal of the day.
